First Time at Climbing Roots?

Get to know the Climbing Roots community by dropping in and touring the gym. Here’s everything you need to know before your first visit.

Here Is What to Do

1. Complete a Waiver

Everyone needs a waiver to climb. You must be 18 or older to fill out your own waiver — legal guardians complete waivers for minors. Signing online before you arrive speeds up check-in.

2. Shoes and Check-In

We're a bouldering-only gym with rental gear available. Shoe rentals are $5 and chalk is $3 — and first-time visitors get rentals on us.

3. Orientation

A crew member will give you a quick tour of the gym and walk you through how everything works, including falling safely and gym rules.

4. Enjoy Climbing

Day passes are good all day — feel free to leave for lunch and come back.
