Bouldering?

Learn about the Climbing Roots Community by dropping in and touring the gym.  Coming 2025

FIRST CLIMB

We have lots of cool stuff at Climbing Roots (yoga, fitness, clinics, etc), but we are mainly a climbing gym. We have climbs for all skill levels so you don't need previous experience to have fun on our walls.

We are a bouldering only gym. You don’t need a rope, harness, or belayer—the walls aren’t very tall and are built over a padded floor. Bouldering is the simplest way to get into climbing. It is an easy, social, and fun way to climb.

CLIMB FOR A DAY… You can come in, buy a day pass, and stay all day or come and go as you please. Your day pass is good for the whole day during general open hours.

Risks

Climbing is dangerous and there are inherent risks. Participants and observers must assume the risks of climbing and entering the facility. All climbers, participants, observers, individuals operating a safety system, and anyone proceeding past the check in area must sign (or their parent/guardian must sign) the participant agreement form.

"I’m so stoked to soon have a bouldering gym in my neighborhood that supports the wants and needs of our growing community. Instead of thinking about climbing gyms I’ve visited on past trips as providing some of my favorite gym sessions, I’m excited to soon have a home gym that is wanting to provide that level of high quality experience. I’ve been mostly looking forward to having access to a spray wall, training boards, and a new atmosphere. Whether I’m wanting to do structured strength training or have a chill board session before work, I’m looking forward to spending a lot of time at Climbing Roots!

"As a former climbing gym owner in the UK, I am excited to endorse the establishment of a state-of-the-art climbing wall facility at Baker Creek in Knoxville, TN. Lindsay, the owner, is passionate about climbing and committed to creating a welcoming community. Climbing Roots will not only enhance our local climbing scene but also become a hub for adventure enthusiasts in the region, encouraging physical activity and camaraderie among climbers. I wholeheartedly believe that Climbing Roots will be a fantastic addition to Knoxville’s outdoor culture and provide an engaging environment for climbers of all backgrounds. "
